Aceste versuri, deosebit de inspirate, sunt scrise de Corneliu Coposu.
Ele sunt izvorâte din sufletul celui care după 17 ani de temniţă şi alte multe neajunsuri, înainte şi după 1989, a avut puterea să îi ierte pe cei ce s-au purtat atât de rău cu el.

Nu am primit de la Dumnezeu darul de a cânta şi nu sunt frustrat pentru că nu sunt un muzician.
Cu toate acestea sunt un ascultător de muzică pasionat.
Sunt şi nu sunt pretenţios.
Sunt pretenţios când e vorba de conţinut. Muzica trebuie să poarte conţinut, indiferent că acesta este dat de versuri sau este un mesaj implicit.
Nu sunt pretenţios când e vorba de genuri şi stiluri muzicale. Evident că am şi eu zone în care nu intru şi nu mă simt confortabil, dar ascult cu mare plăcere muzică simfonică şi în acelaşi timp muzică specifică copiilor.
Ascult cu drag imnuri creştine, bine interpretate, dar şi muzică de închinare.
Cred că în zilele noastre este o prea mare încrâncenare legată de genurile şi stilurile muzicale acceptabile.
Mărturisesc că nu am problema asta. Poate se datorează acest lucru şi faptului că mai toată slujirea mea se leagă de lucrarea de tineret.
Aşa că am trăit multe. Multe melodii sau formaţii, care acum sunt acceptate fără probleme, stârneau multe controverse acum 20 de ani.
Cu toate acestea încerc să îmi ierarhizez preferinţele.
Şi voi da un exemplu din zona muzicii clasice.
Bucata muzicală ce stă de mulţi ani pe locul 1, în preferinţele mele ale acestei zone muzicale, este Partea a 2-a a Concertului nr. 5 pentru pian şi orchestră de Beethoven.
Am ales pentru ilustrare o interpretare a lui Krystian Zimerman, împreună cu Orchestra Filarmonică din Viena, dirijată de Leonard Bernstein.

Mi-ar fi plăcut ca pe blogul meu să postez doar lucruri tonice.
Numai că viaţa pe pământ nu este nici pe departe o călătorie de plăcere, ci o permanentă luptă.
Şi unii luptă până la capăt, iar alţii cedează pe parcurs.
Şi diavolul nu iartă pe nimeni care nu veghează, dar scoate în faţă cazurile notorii.
Slujitorii foarte cunoscuţi, artiştii creştini, şi alte categorii care vin în lumina reflectoarelor, sunt ţinte predilecte, pentru că impactul negativ este mult mai mare.
O bună perioadă de timp arma cea mai redutabilă era infidelitatea, urmată sau nu de divorţ.
De câţiva ani încoace începe să bântuie o altă molimă: orientarea sexuală.
Anul trecut a fost cazul Ray Boltz, care s-a declarat homosexual.
Acum a venit rândul unui alt nume mare, Jennifer Knapp.
Artista care a vândut peste un milion de discuri după doar trei albume, câştigătoare Dove şi nominalizată la Grammy, s-a retras în plină glorie în 2002.
La sfârşitul anului trecut a revenit în studio şi a început să lucreze la materialul pentru discul ce este programat să apară peste o lună.
Cu o lună înainte de lansarea discului atât de aşteptat a hotărât să facă publică această relaţie a sa, fără să dezvăluie numele partenerei sale.
Ce este mai trist chiar decât faptul în sine, este argumentaţia celor care aleg această cale.
Vor să convingă că este posibil să fii creştin şi în acelaşi timp să ai relaţii sexuale cu o persoană de acelaşi gen.
“I'm just a normal human being who's dealing with normal everyday life scenarios.” 
“As a Christian, I'm doing that as best as I can.”
Nu vreau să cad în capcana pe care o întind cei ce au acest mod de viaţă şi să intru în polemică.
Da, ei au dreptul la iubire necondiţionată din partea noastră, dar eu decid să rămân lângă Scriptură când e vorba de a mă raporta la acest mod de viaţă pe care Biblia îl numeşte păcat.

Wow! Asta da întrebare.
Cine poate să răspundă la această întrebare? Multe răspunsuri pot veni din diferite direcţii. Chiar şi filozofii pot să răspundă la această întrebare.
Dar Biserica poate da răspuns la această întrebare?
Păi biserica nu are treabă cu asta!
Oare? Dar ce ne facem cu atâţia oameni complexaţi, mai ales la vârsta adolescenţei şi a tinereţii?
Câte mici (sau mai puţin mici) drame se consumă datorită acestei chestiuni!
Mofturi!
Nimic nu e moft atunci când are de a face cu sufletul unui om! Câteodată suntem mai catolici decât papa şi repede răspundem cu şabloane, fie ele şi religioase. Poate că o mai mare atenţie faţă de frământările legate de crizele de identitate ar ajuta mai mulţi tineri să evite schilodirea interioară şi desfigurarea exterioară.
Recent grupul Everlife, format din trei surori, a scos single-ul What's Beutiful (Ce e frumos) la Ransom.tv, un canal deţinut de Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, canal destinat tinerilor.
Cântecul este un fel de provocare la examinarea conceptului de frumuseţe.
Fetele recunosc că au avut dificultăţi în realizarea acestui videoclip, deoarece unele ipostaze nu le erau dragi.
Cu toate acestea a meritat să deschidă discuţia despre frumuseţe, pentru că multe fete şi femei au lupta aceasta de a arăta mai bine decât apar în oglindă.
Mesajul central al cântecului este că fiecare e unic şi nu trebuie băgat într-un şablon.

Un videoclip plin de bună dispoziţie şi... culoare.
Rend Collective Experiment este un grup nord-irlandez care practică o muzică de bună calitate, pe gustul tinerilor, dar cu conţinut. Urmăriţi textul acestei melodii. În esenţă este un text mai degrabă de worship decât de pop.
Pe mine însă m-a încântat "ştiinţa culorii". Viaţă şi mişcare, vitalitate şi tonus pozitiv, iată ce sugerează acest videoclip.

Am auzit adeseori afirmaţia că timpul le vindecă pe toate.
Nu, timpul şi uitarea nu sunt leacuri, ci eventual calmante, care pot alina, oarecum, pentru o perioadă. Realitatea este că problemele nerezolvate nu pot fi nici ascunse, nici îngropate şi nici nu poţi fugi de ele. Ele te vor urmări şi apăsa, fie că sunt păcate, traume emoţionale, temeri, sau secrete straşnic păstrate.
Chiar şi aşa multe dintre frământările nemărturisite se arată în afară prin efectele lor. Realitatea interioară determină realitatea exterioară şi atitudinea interioară determină comportamentul exterior. E un mare consum de energie să tot clădeşti ziduri de apărare, pentru ca nimeni să nu vadă ce este în mintea şi inima ta. Este o mare tensiune să tot construieşti imagini pentru uzul extern, pentru a ascunde singura imagine veritabilă, cea ascunsă de toţi ochii.
Merită oare să intri în această cursă permanentă, cursă pe care oricum nu o vei câştiga până la urmă? Cu siguranţă că nu merită, mai ales când există soluţia curăţirii şi a vindecării!

Am primit o melodie de la Tenth Avenue North, care va figura pe următorul lor album - "The Light Meets the Dark" (Lumina întâlneşte întunericul), melodie care se numeşte "Healing Begins" (Vindecarea începe). Un vers este de-a dreptul copleşitor: "Sparks will fly as grace collides With the dark inside of us" (Scântei vor sări când harul va întâlni întunericul din noi).
De ce e nevoie pentru asta?
Să te întorci acolo unde e "întunericul" tău şi să nu te opui luminii care vine.
Şi sângele Lui îşi face lucrarea de curăţire şi tămăduire.
